Bros. as a major motion picture. Man I can not wait for this movie to come out.

I know that announcement came out in 2010 and I havent heard any more about it. The book was incredible, and I was excited to hear about the potential movie.

Yes, I liked the book as well, read it a year ago then passed it on, wish I had it still to re-read ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading this book right now. I've tried to be preparedness minded and have been stocking up and have learned to garden and can foods.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'm concerned about as a single Mom in the 'burbs is that I don't have a gun or any real means of self-protection. I grew up with an ex-Marine for a dad, and a rifle he captured in Japan residing in my closet. I knew from the earliest time to NEVER touch the rifles or guns around the house-later on he taught me to shoot.
I would like to purchase a rifle for protection, and possibly a handgun, but I don't even know where to look for such things! Any suggestions?
Here is a good place to start. The NRA has a lot of program geared towards women.

You can also check with a gun range in your area as well, most provide firearm safety training and other programs from the novice to the advanced shooter.
