I remember to this day where and what I was doing when I saw this! I was setting in a cafe in Europe watching CNN waiting on my wife. The next day we were at the U.S. Embassy when a local man walked up and asked if we were Americans. I told him yes and he said he was sorry for what had happened. I told him thank you and said to him that the people who did this do not know what they have done. They have awaken an angry America and they will regret it! The rest is history.
So where were you on this day 10 years ago?
I was working in an optical lab. My husband was onboard the ship he was stationed on at the time he was watching it all unfold on the TV down in his work space.And he called me after the first plane hit, while we were on the phone he witnessed the second plane hitting. I didn't believe him at first, so I turned the radio on and heard it from the commentators.
